Technology has rapidly transform the marketing industry. Being knowledgeable on this online tools helps our business keep running.

It is important to adapt in todays consumers mindset. We live in a content first world that people will read some information first before they buy your products or services.

Now a days it is now necessary to use these marketing tools to help businesses grow. One of them is LinkedIn. I consider this social media platform a very good to use improve your business strategy.

To be honest my personal LinkedIn account is never been an active ever since. But when update my profile because of this class I found it really cool and a really great platform for personal or business purposes. I requested to join in some pages or groups that are related to my business type like; Childcare Centers, Preschools, Daycare, Montessori Schools-Owners and Entrepreneurs, Childcare Network, etc. Joining their is also a great opportunity for me to learn and to connect to different topics such as Marketing, How and where to advertise on the web, How social media should use, Curriculum, Business opportunities in childcare and a lot more...

I would love to sign up for YELP account but unfortunately I am not able to create an account as of the moment because my business is not real yet. This marketing tools is also great for my business. It like a local directory like google maps that helps people find your business easily.

It is a great opportunity to have these resources on how make traffic online and in order to sell your product and services and the best part of it is we get a chance to show people how our products and services can help them solve their problems and fulfill their desires and needs.

Week 12 Part A: Business Specific Online Tools

Online marketing tools  are significant means to enhance each process with your business.  As estimated there were about 59.5 % internet active users worldwide and this is one of the reasons why small business or any company should seriously think about using a digital marketing tools in order to get customers and to make sufficient profit for their business.

It is very beneficial for us to learn all these digital marketing tools. For my future business, I believe most all of these digital marketing tools that we've learned are also great for me to use.

I will definitely create an active website as one essential tool for being discoverable online and for the parents to learn more about my business. In addition, I will also post my business in our local directories; Google maps, yelp, etc.  along with the customers reviews so, my business could easily be found by people who needs our services.

Aside from that, we could also join in a local parent groups in Facebook or connect to these group of people in LinkedIn the way it'll give us an idea on what matters to parents locally.

I also learned that there different types of marketing platforms, one example is  "Marketing 360". It's a type of marketing tool for small business. It also uses multi-channel marketing, email, and text nurturing. Every thing is digitalize which we understand parents would like at their convenience.

This type of marketing software could help increase my childcare's enrollment but still want to do more readings on how reliable this platform is. The only thing I like is, for a childcare business you got a free account tools such Customer Relationship Management (CRM) that will help my business for an easy registration, payments, forms, etc.

Week 11: Marketing with Twitter, LinkedIn, Social Influencers

Marketing your business online is a big deal these days. It massively affects how people purchase products and interact with businesses.

Social media platforms became the best tool to connect with and influence those potential customers online

Businesses use LinkedIn to make quality connections and find potential customers. It is considered a professional and trustworthy source of information that we can used to build brand awareness in the community. Using this platform to post and share any business announcements, relevant articles etc., may help drive traffic to our other online media accounts such as website and blog.

Aside from that, with LinkedIn we can keep our business updated on the latest news, tips, and trend within  the industry that may help us edge on our competition and gives more ideas to boost our marketing strategy.

Twitter brings businesses to a wide range of audience. As what we've learnt from our previous lessons, using hashtags in twitter is also best strategy to reach and appeal your target market. To be honest, I am not really active in Twitter but I can say this platform is one of the best resource for gathering feedback from my customers.

Social influencers would be tough to jump into but I think it's an absolutely effective marketing strategy as well. Using word of mouth, referral programs from an influencers who has millions of followers is a big plus to your branding. Just like a certain product that was promoted by an influencer, since people follow and trust this person, they will buy the same product.

As of the moment, I am not that active in my LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, but if I have my business  I will definitely use these social media platforms as well to boost my business.

Week 10 Part A: Researching Email Marketing

Email marketing can help build costumer relationships by providing them with information they want directly into their inbox. It is also easy to produce and send. You can produce an email in less than a day in an email compared to other marketing tactics. Aside from this e-newsletter is way cheaper than direct mail piece including postage costs, labels, and design work.

In my business I will choose to send an email newsletter once a week. I would probably do it every Friday giving me an opportunity to send an appreciation message to all our parents for unconditionally loving and supporting our children, the staff for all the hard work, the children for doing such an amazing job in our center during the week. I will also include in this email our upcoming activities for the following week.

I will also include promotion sometimes, just like they will receive tuition fee discount for any referral or even for those who will leave a positive reviews on our page website, yelp, etc. I will add some relevant links to my site within my content to get my customer to engage with other great post available on my blog, Facebook, and Instagram.

Week 9 Part B: Blogs, Vlogs, Podcasts & Webinars

In this week's activity, I created two Instagram posts and I as what I normally do, I shared them to my Facebook business page as well. I like how we can link our post in different social media platforms because as a busy mom, it really saves and minimizes my time.

In my business blog, vlog, posts, I love to use some of these categories: Daycare daily routine, how we set-up our center, we will show them how our daily activities from the time parents dropped off their child to the center until pick-up time. Activities and games, we will post and share lots of activities such spirit day, Science Fair, Art Fair, Summer Camp and even the games that we do that parents and viewers might find them interesting as well to do at home with their children during  weekend. Arts and Crafts, sharing step-by-step art & crafts activities is also fun.

We will also share some recipe's of our children's favorite snacks in the center, maybe we can share them videos on preparing healthy meal or snacks for children. Lastly, we would also create an inspirational blog appreciating all the busy parents for trusting us to be their partner in loving and caring their wonderful child.

I believe these categories will help my business grow because in this way, we can prove to them that our service is pure and we will take care and love their children seriously.

Week 9 Part A: Blogs, Vlogs, Podcasts & Webinars

Businesses use feeling to get people buy their products and services. Through adding human interest or personal touch to your post to appeal to peoples emotions because it describes personal experiences.  With this, you are making your customer feel special. It helps customers trust to grow and changes their view on your business.

People rely on emotions rather than information, to make brand decision. If they feel valued, they'll inclined to buy your product again or use your services. As my personal experienced I always check on customer reviews or how their customers feel first before I  persuade myself to buy a certain product.

For my future business, I would definitely apply personal touch to my post with happiness and positivity.  We'll share some behind the seen photos, vlog posts on how our day works in the center. We'll share some cool children art and crafts, etc.

We can also share some blog post appreciating  our parents and sharing some cool tips to manage their child's busy schedule at the same time encouraging them to always "Don't forget themselves" etc.

Business associated with happy customers and positivity get more chances of increase sharing and engagement.

Week 17: Wrapping It Up

I was thinking back on the first time I have Facebook and Instagram personal account. It was just plainly for social interactions purposes....
